Honor Band 2022 will take place April 29, 30 and May 1.

​

Auditions Students will audition for their own school's Band Director on or before March 25, 2022.  Honor Band members are selected by the SLOCBDA as a group.

Sunday, May 1      Senior Dress Rehearsal

                              10am – 11:30am

Garson Oliveri, Cabrillo High School, Lompoc

will conduct the Junior Honor Band

Christopher Woodruff, CalPoly State University

will conduct the Senior Honor Band

SLO County Honor Band

is THIS WEEKEND

• Please arrive early enough to be in your seat when the rehearsal begins.

• Please be prepared to pay the participation fee ($60) at the first rehearsal on Friday.  Checks can be made out to SLOCOE.  We also except cash, (exact change only please.)

​​

• Parking:  use the main lot at San Luis Obispo High School and look for signs directing you to your rehearsal.

​​

• SENIOR BAND members may audition for First Chair of their section.  First Chair auditions will be held at 5 p.m. on Friday, April 29 at San Luis Obispo High School.  Ask your director for details.

​​

• JUNIOR BAND members:  Be sure you have music for Sonatina.  If you don't, please ask your Band Director for the music.

​​

• Be prepared to dress formally (black & white) for the concert on Sunday.  We will discuss details for formal dress at the rehearsals.
